416 METROPOLITAN AVE
Brooklyn

Built in 2022 at the corner of Marcy Ave and Metropolitan Ave in Williamsburg, this former bank site now houses a mixed-use HPD building designed by Kutnicki Bernstein Architects. The building features a distinctive two-tone facade of white brick and bronze-colored cladding, complemented by expansive windows offering views of Our Lady of Mt. Carmel-Annunciation and Sister Nicoderma Plaza. Spanning 8 floors, it accommodates 123 apartments and 2 commercial spaces, with amenities including parking, an exercise room, and a roof terrace. Notably, 37 units are designated for income-restricted lottery, contributing to the area's diverse community. The architecture includes a rounded front with curved glass windows, reminiscent of 19th century Parisian apartment buildings, while ground-level retail spaces with high ceilings and large windows enhance the neighborhood's pedestrian-friendly appeal amidst its vibrant shopping districts.
